International arbitration counsel: Zuzana brings over ten years of experience in international arbitration and cross-border dispute resolution, advising public and private clients, including investors, contractors, state-owned entities, and commercial parties, in complex, high-value disputes across construction, energy, infrastructure, aviation, industry, and emerging technologies. Over the course of her career, she has been involved in more than 40 international arbitrations seated in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, conducted under major institutional rules, including ICSID, ICC, LCIA, SIAC, SCC, and ICDR, and governed by a wide range of laws, including French, English, Swiss, Kazakh, and Saudi law.

Construction & infrastructure disputes: A significant part of Zuzana’s practice focuses on construction and engineering disputes arising from EPC and FIDIC contracts. She has acted in disputes involving major infrastructure and industrial projects, including power transmission lines (220kV and 500kV), motorway and road construction, refinery works, wastewater treatment systems, cement plants, and gas-fired power plant components. Her experience encompasses representing contractors and employers, including state-owned entities, in international arbitrations, dispute adjudication proceedings, and mediations relating to projects across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.

Investment arbitration: Zuzana has also acted in several treaty arbitrations, including an UNCITRAL case between a French investor and Senegal and an ICSID arbitration between a British investor and Hungary. She regularly advises investors and States on matters relating to international investment law and public international law.

She is fluent in Slovak, French, and English and has professional working proficiency in Czech.
